THE approval ratings of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and Vice President Sara Duterte took a big hit in the third quarter, the latest survey by Pulse Asia showed.
After enjoying an 80 percent rating in Pulse Asia's poll last June, Marcos' approval rating slipped to 65 percent, and that of Duterte from 84 percent to 73 percent in its September 10-15 survey.President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and Vice President Sara Duterte.
In its third-quarter survey, Publicus Asia noted that anti-administration sentiments grew to 23 percent.Pulse Asia said the President's 65-percent rating — a year and three months into his administration's term — is slightly higher than the lowest approval rating of his predecessor, Rodrigo Duterte, in September 2021.The former leader's 64 percent rating during that period was the lowest during his term.
