“I also support the move to come up with a final decision on POGO but that’s the president’s call. Nasa PAGCOR ang susi dyan e…That’s a decision that has to be made by the president,” Zubiri told reporters at the Kapihan sa Senado. Should Marcos decide to just regulate POGOs, Zubiri said Congress must come up with laws that will ensure better tax collection from the industry, that will limit them to certain areas in the country to avoid crimes, that will impose periodic review of their employees, and measures that increase penalties of POGO related crimes.
