President Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos Jr. has assured families affected by the continued unrest of the Mayon Volcano that the national government is ready to cater to their needs as they await for the situation to return to normal. | ManilaBulletin

Told the evacuees that they would not have to wait long if they needed assistance as government agencies were on standby.Mayon Volcano remains under Alert Level 3.

In his remarks, the President told the evacuees that they would not have to wait long if they needed assistance as government agencies such as the Department of Social Welfare and Development and Department of the Interior and Local Government were on stand by."Sabihin ninyo sa amin. Nandito silang lahat at nandiyan lang sila para alalayan kayo ," he added.

He said that the Department of National Defense has been coordinating with all disaster relief response agencies in the country to provide the evacuees with their needs while the DSWD works on extending relief goods. Meanwhile, President Marcos reiterated his gratitude to the United Arab Emirates for providing 50 tons of relief goods after learning of the Mayon Volcano’s unrest.
