Manhart Lifts The BMW X7 M50i To 650 HP With Series Of Upgrades | Carscoops carscoops
The tuner’s creation is dubbed the MHX7 650 and is based on the currentM50i. As standard, the X7 M50i features a 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine pumping out an impressive 530 hp and 553 lb-ft of torque. To give the SUV some extra grunt, Manhart has tweaked the ECU, removed the standard petrol particulate filters, and installed a new valve-control sports exhaust system with four carbon-fiber tailpipes.The result is an X7 that now churns out 650 hp and 678 lb-ft of torque.
A series of visual modifications have also been made to the big BMW SUV. For example, has equipped the X7 with a new set of carbon fiber wing mirrors, a carbon rear diffuser, and a carbon front splitter with small aerodynamic winglets. The tuner has also wrapped the exterior of the BMW in matte black and applied a host of bright gold accents.
Rounding out the visual changes are a set of Y-spoke wheels measuring 23×11 at all four corners and wrapped in 295/35 tires. New coupling rods were also fitted to lower the ride height by approximately 25 mm .
