A man and a woman were arrested after they led Mesquite police officers on a chase Monday afternoon, according to media reports. The chase ended in Dallas.

The chase started about 2 p.m. Monday when officers from the Mesquite Police Department tried to stop a car near the intersection of Broadway Boulevard and Interstate 30, the news station reported. The woman, who was driving the car, refused to stop.a part of the chase. A man who was with her ran from the area and stole an “unoccupied box truck.” When police tried to pull over the truck, the man refused and led authorities on a second chase.
In video footage of the chase, the man can be see speeding through traffic, sometimes in the wrong direction. The man was arrested near the intersection of Munger Boulevard and Junius Street in Dallas, where he abandoned the truck, the news station reported., Breaking News reporter .
