PETALING JAYA: Men's doubles shuttlers Man Wei Chong-Tee Kai Wun made Istora Senayan their happy hunting ground when they upstaged seniors Aaron Chia-Soh Wooi Yik to march into the Indonesian Masters final. The world No. 13 pair played brilliantly to come away with a 21-18, 21-15 win over world No. 5 Aaron-Wooi Yik in Jakarta on Saturday .They also made it to the final in Istora last year June but lost to China's world No. 3 Liang Weikeng-Wang Chang in the Indonesian Open.
Wei Chong-Kai Wun will face home favourites and world No. 4 Fajar Alfian-Rian Ardianto in the title match on Sunday . They have never beaten the local heroes, having lost to them in all the last four meetings. "Before the match, we just prepared ourselves well because Aaron-Wooi Yik are our seniors. We did not have much pressure, so we were able to play better," Wei Chong told the Badminton World Federation .Kai Wun said:"We didn't think that we could reach the final. We have another match tomorrow and we hope we can get the best result.
