Police say a driver who seriously injured a pedestrian in Bayswater may have been armed with a knife and had children in the car.
Police were called to the Perth suburb of Bayswater where a man in his 50s had been struck by a car.A man is in a serious condition in hospital after he was hit by a car, believed to be driven by a man carrying a knife who had two children in the vehicle.
"We have a number of policing units involved, including specialist investigators from the major crime division, who are working tirelessly to get some answers."Police said they understand the silver Commodore may have collided with several other vehicles before the incident.Wayne Small lives on Skew Road, about a two-minute drive from the Bayswater Hotel, and said he heard a car screeching around his corner late Tuesday morning.
