The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office reported two separate shooting incidents during a media briefing early Monday morning.

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said a man was found with a single gun shot wound. He was taken to the hospital in life-threatening condition.JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A man is in the hospital after a shooting in the Woodland Acres neighborhood, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office. Officers responded to the address in reference to a shooting.

The Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department took the victim to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. A couple witnesses who were inside the residence at the time of the shooting were detained by police. They are cooperating. Anyone with information on this shooting is asked to contact the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office non-emergency number at 630-0500 or to remain anonymous contact Crime Stoppers at 1-866-845-TIPS.
