A Staten Island man driving drunk with his two children Saturday night struck a cyclist in the area of Route 440 and East 22nd Street in Bayonne, sending the cyclist to a local hospital with severe injuries, authorities said. Rainier J. Solis, 45, has been charged with DWI, assault by auto and endangering the welfare of children, Bayonne Capt. Eric Amato said. He was taken into custody at 9:47 p.m. after an on-scene investigation.
