A man was stabbed multiple times at the Chinatown-International District Link light rail station in Seattle Tuesday morning.
Seattle police and Sound Transit security respond to the Link light rail station in the city’s Chinatown-International District after a man was stabbed multiple times on Tuesday, October 24, 2023. According to the Seattle Police Department , officers responded to a reported stabbing on 400 block of South Jackson Street around 7:30 a.m. Tuesday. The department said responding officers found a man with “multiple non-life threatening stab wounds” at the scene.
Officers gave the man first medical aid until Seattle Fire Department crews arrived and took over. A SFD spokesperson told KOMO News the man was in “serious condition” when crews arrived at the scene.The SPD said responding officers searched “for the known suspect,” but they could not be found. Police said the suspect is a man, but no other suspect information has been provided at this time.
