Police are searching for a store clerk after a shooting outside an adult novelty store in southeast Houston.A store clerk shot a man early Wednesday outside an adult novelty store near Interstate 45 in southeast Houston before fleeing the scene, according to police.
Around 3 a.m., officers responded to a shooting near the interstate and Bellfort Avenue, Metro Video Services reported. Police found a man shot in the abdomen. He was taken to the hospital in serious condition.Detectives said the preliminary investigation found that a woman had been standing outside the store when two men approached her and started talking. A store clerk then came outside and shot one of the men and then fled the scene.
