UPDATE: Man killed in City Park West shooting identified, police ask for public’s help with tips
A man died Thursday morning after a shooting in Denver’s City Park West neighborhood.
The shooting was reported in the 1700 block of North Race Street, according to a 7:23 a.m. tweet from the Denver Police Department. UPDATE: The victim in this incident has been pronounced deceased and this is now being investigated as a homicide. The Office of the Medical Examiner will provide victim ID. Investigation is ongoing. Updates will be posted to this thread when they are made available.
