No arrests have been made after a man was found dead Thursday in the city’s Clark-Fulton neighborhood, police said.

Major Whitley, 41 was found about 8:15 a.m. lying in a yard at a home located on Walton Avenue, near West 38th Street, according to police and the office of the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner. A resident called police to notify officers that Whitley was lying in a yard with a bloody shirt on. Whitley had suffered from several gunshot wounds to his body.
Emergency medical services pronounced Whitley dead at the scene, police said. Homicide detectives responded to the scene to investigate. A witness told police about an argument, followed by several gunshots during the night.
