Based on a report, the development started as early as 2010, with the 2nd phase of the project launched in 2013. However, a malfunction in 2015 caused the project to be at a dead end. According to the assemblyman of Kota Laksamana, Liu, he said that during the period, the incomplete monorail track already had a journey of 3 KM. Unfortunately, that plan never came true.Liu also reminded the public that despite being abandoned, the monorail track is NOT a running track.
