Man holed up in stolen car arrested after SWAT responds to USD parking structure [Breaking]
A man possibly linked to a string of car burglaries at the University of San Diego was arrested after being found in a stolen vehicle on campus early Thursday.
University officials told San Diego police the man was spotted inside a Chevrolet sedan they believe had been used in a dozen vehicle burglaries reported on campus over the last couple months, San Diego police Lt. Christian Sharp told OnScene TV.Sharp said the vehicle had another car’s license plates and had earlier been reported stolen.
After officers sent in a police dog, the suspect gave up. He was arrested on suspicion of being in possession of a stolen vehicle, according to Sharp.
