PETALING JAYA: The man arrested in connection with the viral video clips of a road-bullying incident involving two men in Balakong has been remanded.
Kajang OCPD Asst Comm Ahmad Dzaffir Mohd Yussof said the 44-year-old suspect would be remanded until Tuesday to assist with investigations.The suspect was arrested at Taman Putri Jaya in Cheras at about 4.20pm Friday .“He said he got angry after the victim cut the queue when turning into a junction,” he said.
The two clips, which were 47 seconds and 20 seconds long, show two men getting out of their cars and subsequently punch and kick each other on Jalan Dataran Cheras 2, Cheras Traders in Cheras Balakong.ACP Ahmad Dzaffir said a report on the case was lodged by police personnel, but the victim had not come forward to lodge his report.
