Man fatally stabbed in Barrio Logan identified as Lemon Grove resident [Breaking]
Officers found Gonzalez-Valdez with multiple stab wounds to the upper body, police said. He died before he could be taken to a hospital.Shebloski said the victim was with a companion when he was attacked, and that the companion was detained but released soon afterward.
Investigators are searching for evidence, surveillance video and witnesses to the crime. No suspect information was immediately available. Anyone with information about the death was asked to call detectives at 531-2293 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 580-8477.
