Officers responded about 10 a.m. Wednesday to a shooting call in the 4700 block of South R.L. Thornton Freeway, near East Ledbetter Drive. Police said an investigation found the man and the teenager were attempting a robbery when someone shot them.The teen was released from the hospital and faces an aggravated robbery charge as a juvenile. Police did not say if the teen was detained. The teen’s name will not be released because the teen is a minor, police said.
