Man fatally shot in Spring Valley [Breaking]
Homicide detectives are investigating after a man was fatally shot in Spring Valley on Tuesday evening and a second victim was wounded, sheriff’s officials said.
Deputies responded to a report of a man found lying face down in Central Avenue near Valencia Street shortly after 10:05 p.m. They tried to CPR on the victim, who had suffered at least one gunshot wound, but he could not be revived and died before he could be taken to a hospital, said Lt. Matthew Carpenter.“Additionally, another unknown male arrived at a local hospital with a gunshot wound to his arm and was expected to survive,” said homicide Lt. Joseph Jarjura said.
