BANGKOK: Thailand's Department of Disaster Prevention (DDPM) has issued a warning to 24 provinces across Thailand, including the North, Northeast, Central, and South, urging vigilance for the potential risks of flash floods, river flooding, and landslides from Friday (Aug 15) till Sunday (Aug 17).
MELAKA: A 24-year-old man died after falling from the 27th floor of a rented condominium unit at Kota Syahbandar here in the early hours of Thursday .
Police then sought the help of the Fire and Rescue Department to retrieve the body from the pool, and medical officers who confirmed the death. “At about 2.15am, he told his fiancée he heard someone knocking on the door of their unit before stepping out onto the balcony in an attempt to climb his way down to a lower floor.“CCTV footage showed no one else was involved during the incident,” the source added.
