A 43-year-old man tragically died after being electrocuted while catching crabs on Thursday night in Kota Kinabalu. The victim came into contact with illegal electrical wiring while in a mangrove area. Firefighters had to wait for power to be cut off before moving the victim, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
KOTA KINABALU: A 43-year-old man died after being electrocuted while catching crabs on Lorong Kuala Neutron, Kampung Likas, near here on Thursday night.
Lintas Fire Station chief Agustavia Joe Guasi said a team of 10, led by operations commander Mohammad Faizal Alias, was deployed to the scene after receiving an emergency call at 10.45pm.
