Fort Worth police say a man was fatally shot in Fort Worth on Friday morning.
Officers were called about 9:30 a.m. to John Peter Smith Hospital, where they learned a man had been shot about a mile away. Police said the victim and a witness were sitting in a car in the 2700 block of South Grove Street when someone walked by and asked what they were looking at. After walking past the car, police said, the passer-by began shooting into the vehicle.
The victim, in the passenger seat, crawled into the floorboard and was struck. The witness drove the victim, whose name has not been released, to the hospital, where he died.Email Address
