A Victorian man has died after an early morning fight in an inner Melbourne Park.
Residents nearby Fitzroy Gardens in East Melbourne allegedly heard “painful screaming” about 7am on Monday morning.Paramedics were not able to save the man, who is yet to be formally identified, and he died at the scene.

Picture: Supplied A 36-year-old man was arrested and remains under police guard at a nearby hospital as he received treatment.Police were seen bagging evidence after reportedly fishing out items during their search of the park’s fountain.
