Victoria Police are investigating the shocking circumstances of a man's death after a truck and V/Line train collided on Monday morning.

Victoria Police is urging anyone who witnessed the collision to come forward and contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.Police and emergency services were called to the collision near Barwon Terrace about 6:40am.
