A man, suspected of being verbally abusive towards a police officer, was detained after being found unconscious in a car in Nordin Road. The case is under investigation under the Penal Code and Minor Offences Act 1955.
A man was detained because he is suspected of making abusive remarks towards a police officer who wanted to question him in Nordin Road last night. Police received a report from the public at 10:30 pm, indicating that the suspect was found unconscious inside a car. Upon investigation, the man was uncooperative and verbally abusive when police tried to question him.
He was subsequently arrested and the case is being investigated under Section 186 of the Penal Code and Section 14 of the Minor Offences Act 1955. The police are completing the investigation report and will refer the case to the Deputy Public Prosecutor's office for charges.
