A Jefferson County jury on Wednesday found 50-year-old Daniel Wayne Swader guilty of reckless manslaughter in the 2020 death of Janice Denise White of Hoover.
A St. Clair County man has been convicted in a head-on DUI crash that killed a 61-year-old woman in Jefferson County two years ago.
Sheriff’s officials at the time said witnesses told deputies a Chevrolet Blazer crossed over the center line and struck two other vehicles, including White’s Kia Spectra. One person was killed in a Dec. 21, 2020 crash at the intersection of Micklewright Road and Gadsden Highway.
