An NBL star has undergone emergency surgery for a fractured skull after an alleged one-punch attack in Wollongong. Brisbane Bullets player, Harrison Froling is recovering in hospital, while another man has been arrested. WesternWilson9 9News MORE:
Froling allegedly left Fever Nightclub on Crown Street in Wollongong, a popular nightlife district, around 2am on Sunday.
Hours earlier, Froling had faced off against his brother during the Brisbane Bullets' win over the Illawarra Hawks. Shortly after landing in Brisbane, he presented to Prince Charles Hospital where he was rushed into surgery, after suffering a fractured skull and bleeding on the brain.READ MORE:Froling's NBL team the Brisbane Bullets said they are working with police and the NBL Integrity Unit to investigate the circumstances of the alleged assault.
