A 67-year-old man is expected to be extradited from Victoria to the ACT, after being arrested over the Canberra cold case killing of Irma Palasics.
ACT police said the 67-year-old man was arrested this morning in Melbourne over the 1999 death of Irma Palasics, who was killed during a burglary at her Canberra home.
Both Mrs Palasics and her husband Gregor, who were aged in their 70s, were assaulted during the home invasion, with police saying two intruders had bound and beaten the couple.The man is expected to face the Dandenong Magistrates Court today and be extradited to the ACT.
