Man arrested in connection with stabbing on downtown San Diego trolley [Breaking]
A 32-year-old man was arrested in connection with a stabbing at a trolley station in downtown San Diego late Wednesday night, police said.
The attack occurred just before 11:30 p.m. at a trolley station in downtown on C Street near the state courthouse on Union Street. The assailant exited the trolley, took a few steps, turned around and pulled out a knife. He stabbed a person in the trolley doorway once in the neck, police said.After the stabbing, the man got back onto the trolley, and the victim ran away, according to the police.
The suspect was arrested a short time later near a trolley station on Imperial Avenue and 12th Street. The person who was stabbed was taken to a hospital for treatment of injuries that were not considered life-threatening, police said.
