LIPA CITY, Batangas – Police arrested a 26-year-old gas station supervisor for allegedly mauling a pump attendant after he fed chili to his pet cat on Saturday, Jan. 14, in City Park Subdivision in Barangay Sabang here.
The Batangas Police Provincial Office-Public Information Office identified the suspect as Reynan Ganatice, a resident of Centro, Barangay Pangao, here. Investigation said Ganatice was irked after he found out that the victim Zyren Carreon, 24, a resident of City Park Subdivision, fed chili to his fur baby.
Ganatice met and challenged Carreon to a fistfight in which the victim was injured in different parts of the body. Carreon was taken to the Lipa City District Hospital. Ganatice was detained at the Lipa City Police Station.
