INDIANAPOLIS — A man has been arrested and charged with murder in the deadly shooting of another man on Indianapolis' near north side in 2020.
Cortiz Norris, of Indianapolis, was formally charged with murder by the Marion County Prosecutor's Office on Oct. 17, 2023.found Daniel Adam in the driver's seat of a Chevrolet sedan with at least one gunshot wound.After a nearly three-year investigation, an arrest warrant was issued Oct. 17 for Norris, who was located at a home in the 300 block of North Temple Avenue, near East New York and North Rural streets.
A pretrial conference in the case is scheduled for Jan. 3, 2024, with a jury trial currently scheduled to begin Jan. 9, 2024.
