Man allegedly pushes security officer who asked to check his backpack at Lorong Chuan MRT station

A 30-year-old man was arrested for a rash act causing hurt to a security officer at Lorong Chuan MRT station.

The police were alerted to a case of the man being uncooperative with the security checks in the station at Serangoon Avenue 3 on Aug 17 at 8.08am.

He was uncooperative and started to shout at the security officer. During the dispute, the man allegedly grabbed her arms and pushed her, causing her to fall backwards before walking away towards the train platform.
