A man has allegedly pulled a gun on another man during an argument in the carpark of a Gold Coast tourist site. The incident occurred at the rock pools on Currumbin Creek Rd in Currumbin Valley. The suspect has been charged with going armed to cause fear and possession of dangerous drugs and weapons.
A man has allegedly pulled a gun on another man during an argument in the carpark of a Gold Coast tourist site . The two men, who are known to each other, reportedly become involved in a verbal confrontation at the rock pools on Currumbin Creek Rd in Currumbin Valley about 5pm on October 17.
Man allegedly pulls gun during argument at Currumbin rock pools. One of the men drove off in a Nissan Juke and came back a “short time later armed with a firearm”, police allege. He used the gun to “allegedly threaten” the other man but did not physically attack him, police said. Police have charged a 48-year-old Currumbin Valley man with going armed to cause fear. He has also been charged with four counts of possession of dangerous drugs and one count of unlawful possession of weapons.
