The Judicial Service Commission has interviewed candidates for the Land Court, the Labour and Labour Appeals Court and the Eastern Cape High Court.
JOHANNESBURG - A candidate for the High Court Judge position in the Eastern Cape has been accused of coming across as complacent in his preparation for his interview before the Judicial Service Commission .
The commission has interviewed candidates for the Land Court, the Labour and Labour Appeals Court and the Eastern Cape High Court.During his interview, Commissioner Julius Malema accused Msiwa of a lack of preparation."You don’t remember your judgements, you don’t know how judgements get reported, you don’t remember even when given the opportunity now. You still struggle to tell us which judgements were you leading.
Earlier, Msiwa told the JSC that he was only made aware on Tuesday by the Chief Justice Mandisa Maya that an aspirant judge cannot be a member of any party.
