MANCHESTER, England (Reuters) - Players could be close to strike action over the amount of games they are required to play, Manchester City midfielder Rodri warned on Tuesday on the eve of their Champions League opener against Inter Milan.
PETALING JAYA: A suspect from GISB Holdings Sdn Bhd is expected to be charged at the Putrajaya Court on Wednesday .
Kuala Lumpur police said the male suspect is expected to face the charges at 8am, Sinar Harian reported. "One male individual from GISBH will be charged under Section 506 of the Penal Code on Wednesday," it said in a statement on Tuesday .A total of 159 individuals, comprising 39 men and 120 women, were arrested in the operation conducted on Sept 11.
Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Razarudin Husain revealed that health screenings of the victims detected five criminal elements: physical and emotional abuse, child grooming, child labour, child neglect and malnutrition.Last Wednesday, Bukit Aman's Criminal Investigation Department conducted a raid on several charity homes in Selangor and Negri Sembilan, rescuing 402 individuals, comprising 201 males and 201 females, aged between one and 17 years.
The police investigation is centred around allegations of child exploitation connected to charity homes believed to be owned by GISB.Previously, Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Razarudin Husain revealed that authorities recorded statements from 740 individuals, including 30 complainants, 216 witnesses, 392 victims and 102 suspects.
