If you have a favourite item on a restaurant or cafe menu, having it disappear suddenly would be disappointing. Unfortunately for these Tealive fans, it’s

A Twitter user recently pointed out that local cafe chain Tealive has changed their menu and removed many drink options, including his favourite, the Oreo Shaka Lava. In his tweet, the user wrote, “Did Tealive just change the whole menu? I don’t see my Oreo Shaka Lava anymore.”In a separate tweet, he added that the outlet he visited was the newly renovated Bangsar Village. However, he noted that other outlets have also updated their menu to the current one.

The change left many other Tealive customers disappointed they could no longer order their favourite drinks, particularly from the chain’s Horlicks series. Some have gone as far as to say that since the only drink they would order is no longer available, they might not buy from Tealive anymore. A few have tried out the Tealive drinks that seem similar to the ones the brand discontinued but added that it doesn’t taste the same.

According to a reply on their Instagram, Tealive has removed many items from their menu, including the Radiant Roselle Tea, since October. Another tweet has pointed out that the chain also discontinued the Crafted Tea and Shaka Lave series just recently, in early November. However, the brand offers these items as seasonal offerings - so maybe not all hope is lost for Tealive fans.
