PETALING JAYA: Malaysians need to be proactive and promote genuine acts of care to help the country unite, says the Malaysian Consultative Council of Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism, Sikhism and Taoism (MCCBCHST).
said this in the council's New year message to all Malaysians on Monday .
"All Malaysians to pray for a New Year filled with love and hope that will manifest itself through tangible acts of moderation, understanding and acceptance of one another unconditionally. The chairman of the Christian Federation of Malaysia added that Malaysians should consciously play a role to promote peace and harmony in the country.
