According to a recent Jobstreet by SEEK report, half of the Malaysia n workforce has already experimented with GenAI, and 60% are open to reskilling. Popular uses include accessing information, skill development, and language translation.

The report highlights that younger workers are 50% more likely to use GenAI compared to those over 45. Notably, 79% expect some changes in their work, with 28% anticipating significant impacts that could alter or eliminate their roles. Despite challenges like difficulty in crafting effective prompts and accessing reliable data, 57% of workers are willing to upskill and adapt to AI-driven changes.
