Dr. Mohd. Zamri Mohd. Zainuldin, an assemblyman from the Perikatan Nasional (PN) party, has been accused of making defamatory statements against Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim. Azli Yusof, deputy president of Pakatan Harapan (PH) Selangor, alleges that Zamri's statements, which were later identified as false, implied Anwar's support for seditious behavior against the King. The matter has been reported to the police by Abdul Muhaimin Abu Bakar, secretary of Amanah Selangor's Mobilization Bureau.
