Datuk Awang Solahuddin Hashim, MP for Pendang, has been suspended from the Dewan Rakyat for 10 days following his insulting remarks towards the Speaker, Tan Sri Johari Abdul, on TikTok.
KUALA LUMPUR: Perikatan Nasional's Pendang MP Datuk Awang Solahuddin Hashim has been suspended for 10 days for insulting Dewan Rakyat Speaker Tan Sri Johari Abdul.
"Although I had written a letter to you on July 22 to retract the statement and apologise, till this day YB has not done anything. "In light of YB's failure to apologise to me as Speaker, I order YB to leave the House and suspended for 10 days," he said in the Dewan Rakyat on Thursday .
