A seven-ton military truck from the Malaysian Armed Forces got stuck during Operation Murni, but no SPM candidates were affected by the incident in the flooded area of Rantau Panjang. The Malaysian Second Division Infantry Division stated that the vehicle was successfully retrieved and is now fully operational.

“Operasi khas ini telah berjaya dilaksanakan dengan jaya tanpa berlaku sebarang kemalangan yang tidak diingini kepada semua pelajar sekolah. Terdahulu, ATM menerusi Briged Kelapan Infantri Malaysia telah melaksanakan operasi berkenaan dengan memindahkan 300 calon SPM yang terkandas banjir di Rantau Panjang.
“Operasi memindahkan kesemua calon melibatkan beberapa sekolah termasuk Maahad Muhammadi Rantau Panjang dan Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Rantau Panjang dengan mereka dipindahkan ke tiga sekolah berasrama di Pasir Mas.
