\"“I am very sorry and aware of the workload faced by the deceased (Dr Tay Tien Yaa), this is a key finding of this investigation. As the minister, I will definitely take action, especially in what has been mentioned (efforts to address the) shortage of manpower,” he said in a media conference here today. \Dzulkefly said the ministry is always trying to implement actions to improve the working environment for medical staff. Asked whether the findings of the special task force had been submitted to the deceased's family, Dzulkefly said they had informed them. “I understand and realize the difficulty of the family to accept the findings as mentioned by the independent committee,” he said. Today, the special task force investigating the death of the pathology specialist at Lahad Datu Hospital revealed that the specialist's death was not related to bullying at work or being overburdened with work. The chairman of the special task force regarding the death of the pathology specialist, Tan Sri Borhan Dolah, said their findings concluded that the claims that the deceased was oppressed, victimized or bullied by their department head were unfounded. On August 29 last year, the death of the pathology specialist at their residence, which was alleged to be due to workplace bullying, went viral through social media. The matter was revealed by the victim's sister, who claimed that her sister, who served at Lahad Datu Hospital, was bullied by the head of the department and faced pressure throughout her service in the unit due to workload.
