Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan, Malaysia's Foreign Minister, admitted to receiving a compound notice for smoking in a non-smoking area at a restaurant in Negeri Sembilan. The Health Minister, Datuk Seri Dr. Dzulkefly Ahmad, emphasized that no one is above the law regarding smoking regulations under the Control of Smoking Product (Health) Act 2024.
PUTRAJAYA: “Saya akan bayar , harap tidaklah banyak sangat,” kata Menteri Luar, Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan.
“Saya tak dapat balik ke Seremban jadi, pegawai itu datang menemui saya di sini sebab esok saya nak ke Bangkok, Thailand. Dr. Dzulkefly Ahmad sebelum ini juga menegaskan tiada sesiapa yang terlepas daripada undang-undang Akta Kawalan Produk Merokok demi Kesihatan Awam 2024 jika merokok dalam restoran.
Dalam perkembangan lain, Malaysia menyerahkan sumbangan AS$5 juta kepada rakyat Palestin menerusi Inisiatif Kerajaan Hashimiah Jordan.
