Malaysians have always been vocal about how rapidly the prices of goods are increasing, so much so that many people have to stretch their wallets thin to
afford meals not just for themselves but also for their families.
The #UpdateInfo Twitter page recently showcased footage of a local entrepreneur telling a group of people that Malaysians only feel things are expensive because they don’t have money. He added that if Malaysians did have money, they wouldn’t feel like things are expensive. “He can talk like that because he has a lot of money. If he was a regular person, he too would question why items are expensive. Even basic necessities are expensive.”
