Two Malaysian athletes secured gold medals on the final day of the Southeast Asian Youth Games under-18 event, adding to the country's impressive tally.
PETALING JAYA: Hari terakhir Kejohanan Olahraga Remaja Asia Tenggara bawah 18 tahun menyaksikan dua atlet kontinjen Malaysia berjaya meraih dua pingat emas pada acara masing-masing pada pagi tadi.
Atlet kelahiran Sabah itu turut memperbaharui catatan rekod peribadinya pada acara akhir itu yang mana pingat perak menjadi milik Haritchai Kongtuk dari Thailand manakala gangsa dituai oleh Solomon Ng dari kontinjen negara . Lebih manis, atlet kelahiran Sabah turut memperbaharui catatan terbaik peribadi beliau dari 14.17m kepada 14.21m selepas berdepan dengan prestasi yang kurang konsisten sebelum ini.
