KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia will never stop fighting for the rights of Palestinians, says Tan Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar.
In a statement on Monday , Wan Junaidi explained that this includes rights for Palestinians to live in peace and harmony in their land, to reclaim land that had been taken illegally by the Israeli regime in 1948, and to form an independent and sovereign Palestine based on international borders pre-1967, with BaitulMaqdis as its capital.
“I reiterated Malaysia’s stance in condemning the genocide and cruelty that is happening to the people of Palestine,” he said. “I call on the international community, especially the Western powers, to be humane and take immediate and drastic action to stop the cruel and inhumane genocide towards Palestinians,” he said.
