Malaysia-Singapore spats not affecting Asean integration, says expert

THE ongoing bilateral disputes between Malaysia and Singapore, Asean’s two main economies, will not slow down overall integration of the grouping, said Dr Mohd Munir Abdul Majid. The CIMB Asean Research Institute chairman said this was because overall relations between Malaysia and its southern neighbour itself were not affected by the current differences.
