The Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB) predicts a 9.8% increase in palm oil exports to RM120 billion in 2025, driven by stable global demand and a projected increase in production. The export volume is also anticipated to rise 2.4% to 17.3 million tonnes in 2025, compared to 16.9 million tonnes in 2024. Other factors contributing to the growth include a 0.3% increase in crude palm oil (CPO) production to 19.5 million tonnes and a steady rise in CPO prices throughout 2024.
KUALA LUMPUR: Hasil eksport minyak sawit Malaysia dijangka meningkat 9.8 peratus kepada RM120 bilion pada 2025 berbanding RM109.33 bilion yang direkodkan tahun lalu, kata Lembaga Minyak Sawit Malaysia .
Beliau berkata, pengeluaran minyak sawit mentah dijangka turut meningkat sebanyak 0.3 peratus kepada 19.5 juta tan pada 2025 daripada 16.90 juta tan pada tahun lalu Harga purata CPO bulanan dan harian mencatatkan kenaikan pada RM5,119.50 per tan metrik pada Disember 2024 dan RM5,333.50 per tan metrik pada 6 Disember 2024.
“Ini mencatatkan peningkatan sebanyak 8.9 peratus dan perbezaan sebanyak 2.17 juta tan antara kedua-dua tahun tersebut.
