His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim and Her Majesty Raja Zarith Sofiah performed Aidilfitri prayers at the Surau Utama, Istana Negara. This marks the first time His Majesty performed the Aidilfitri prayer at Istana Negara after taking the oath of office as the 17th Yang di-Pertuan Agong.
KUALA LUMPUR: His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia , and Her Majesty Raja Zarith Sofiah, Queen of Malaysia , performed Aidilfitri prayers at the Surau Utama, Istana Negara here on Wednesday .
This marks the first time His Majesty performed the Aidilfitri prayer at Istana Negara after taking the oath of office as the 17th Yang di-Pertuan Agong on Jan 31.Aidilfitri's sermon titled"Hakikat Kemenangan” delivered by Munir, among others, called on Muslims to take advantage of the blessings of Aidilfitri to enhance relations among members of the community.
