A recently opened glass water slide at i-City in Shah Alam, Malaysia, has gone viral after an inflatable float detached itself and fell, striking a visitor. Local authorities issued a stop work order and a compound against i-City for operating the attraction without proper approval.

“i-City was compounded for not applying for approval before operating. There was a notice to stop during construction but it was not obeyed, so MBSA issued a compund. However, there has been no official statement from i-City yet regarding how the float detached itself from the conveyor and fell.
